- When held upright, will bear some weight on the legs

3-6 Months
- Sits for at least 5 seconds with hip support

6-9 Months
- Uses arms to move forward on belly
- Stands alone holding onto something
- Moves from back to sitting without assistance
- Walks sideways while holding onto furniture
9-18 Months
- Walks 3+ steps with assistance
- Moves from standing to sitting in a coordinated manner
- Can squat then stand again maintaining balance
- Creeps backward down steps
18-24 Months
- Throws a ball overhand with relative accuracy
- Can walk backward
- Walks upstairs alternating feet
2-3 Years
- Catches a ball trapping it against the chest
- Jumps in place with both feet together
- Stands on one foot for a few seconds
- Kicks a stationary ball at least 6-ft
3-4 Years
- Hops forward on one foot
- Runs around objects turn corners
- Gallops
- Can jump over low objects
- Walks down steps alternating feet
4-5 Years
- Balances on one foot
- Turns a somersault
- Bounces and catches a small ball
- Skips
