Why Therapy Innovations?

Therapy Innovations was started in 2007, by Beth Richardson, M.S., CCC-SLP who was challenged with the needs of many families
for a “fresh approach” to their child’s therapy services. Her vision was to create a caregiver-centered multidisciplinary approach to
therapy where not ONLY caregivers but also communities would be empowered by the services offered.

Beth did just that! Therapy Innovations offers highly skilled therapy services based on the latest research and therapeutic practices.
Therapy Innovations have grown to include 3 clinics that each provide speech-language, feeding, AAC services, occupational, and physical therapy services. In addition, each office is equipped with state-of-the-art sensory gyms along with other specialized pieces of equipment to help children meet their therapy goals. The sensory gyms are equipped with ziplines, swings, stairs, and foam pits which means interactive fun for everyone! The therapists at Therapy Innovations are able to keep up, stimulate, and challenge EVERY child! At Therapy Innovations, our innovative therapy rooms and caregiver-centered approach allow for therapy to be functional and carry over easily across environments.

In addition, to the amazing clinics, Beth had the vision to make the innovative therapy approach available to EVERYONE. She accomplished that by creating a mobile “therapy clinic” for children who were not able to come into the offices. The mobile therapy bus was created in 2020 to bring highly skilled therapy offered in the clinic, to children in their communities! The mobile therapy bus is a miniature “sensory gym” on wheels. It is equipped with rock walls, a money bar, a swing, and a fold-out table for handwriting and speech practice. This amazing bus is FUN and available to children who may not be able to get to the clinic due to medical, family, or
